Japan Pilgrimage II Day 11 - Guest Blogged by 浪迹天涯小狗

No image intensity warning.. HAHA!

View from our 2nd floor room within the main house...

... And Mistress forgot to take my peek again today!

More like she went crazy shopping at Akihabara to care about anything else..

This was what we saw when we exited from Akihabara Station. Doesn't look very familiar to Mistress so we simply followed the crowd and walked the general direction.

Finally reached the main highlight of the area.
Chuo Dori!
The stretch of rows and rows of otaku heaven!

This road used to be closed during weekends for patrons of Akihabara to shop in a zigzag manner without having to walk 200m for the traffic light just to get to the store across the street.

The facilitation was removed recently due to the stabbing incident not long ago.

Innovative buildings with eye-catching designs are abundant, all trying to grab one's attention.

An ita-truck on its rounds as a mobile billboard.

Other than the normal tame stuff like nendoroids, gundams & clean manga, there's all these eroge as well.
This is the preorder wall of one of the stores.

After walking up and down Akihabara a couple of times and hopping into probably 20 stores, climbing x flights of stairs to access all the store has to offer, visiting the cashier n amount of times, the animals went for some food.

GO GO CURRY RICE!!!
(There's an outlet in Ion Orchard)

Yums~

700 yen per set. Yum Yum.

There's some nutritional facts pasted all over the walls.

Went back after a tough tough day of walking, shopping, taking off jacket and putting on..

The Birdy + RR proven nice pudding. The caramel layer was yummy!

Mistress's haul for the day. (Mistress: Yayy! Sanjino!~ Greatest Find!)

The Hakouki set was purchased in Yodabashi Camera a couple of days ago. Story goes, Birdy was excited over one of the handsomes in the series. RR introduced her to the Hakouki story. Birdy was even more excited at finding this cute Hakouki One Coin set at Yodabashi and simply stuffed one box into Mistress's arms, not realising that Mistress had not watched the anime at that time.

Haha, Mistress oso simply went to pay.. :p

Mistress loves the box display stores, where one rents a display cubicle, puts in all that he wants to sell and the store will handle the sales portion. A lot of great finds at low prices!

Patience to look thru each and every cubicle needed thou.

And too bad the animals weren't able to find an affordable Ritsu nendoroid to complete their sets. 13,000 yen for one is simply crazy!
